"Unquiet Mind" Gallery Exhibition January 3-31, 2026 Frederick MD

"The Unquiet Mind" is a series of paintings about my experience with mania—its highs, distortions, and the aftermath. Each piece shows a different side of that state: the storm that built inside me, the sounds that turned into silence, the memories that slipped away, and the walls I couldn’t see but that kept me trapped. At times, what felt safe or welcoming was actually dangerous. Together, these works tell the story of how mania reshaped my world, blurring the line between freedom and confinement, beauty and chaos, reality and illusion.
